I'm looking to get over to Tarpon Springs asap. If you're coming this way any time, look me up! Will be at SCRC's 1st annual cookout this Saturday (no response to my post on that one, either). Usually 5 to 7 VTX's in that Chapter's outings. Why not take a little break-in cruise?

The cane postponed my trip to North Carolina last weekend to pick up my '03 Black R....trying again on Thursday afternoon.

Saturday I will be replacing stock exhaust with Cobra slip-ons, adding cobra backrest, Memphis 19" windshield, and Rivco risers.

I will be looking for a cruise on Sunday evening if anybody will be around.

Tarpon is one town north of Clearwater on the Gulf Coast.

Welcome to the family. Like many families we are, at times, a bit disfunctional. Right now just happens to be one of those times. :oops:

We do try to get rides together every now and then, but I have recently decided not to try to put any together for awhile. It seems that every time I organize a ride we get rained on. I promise, I didn't try to organize anything for last Friday, when Charley hit, so that can't be blamed on me.

I am ashamed our lights never flickered and the wind did get up to about 60mph and destroyed a neighbors tree . it was one of those pretty purple flowered trees weak wood but it was a large tree.. So we had no damage just a lot of leaves and small limbs in the yard..

I was going to ride to Sponge country last weekend but the 50% chance of rain ruined that.. same thing Tue rode past Beefs it was packed . and real soon after the strom Hit Hard...I got new Plugs, Battery and thinking Seat. so I want Lady VTX to stop this rain and lets all go for a good ride.... :(

It has been Hot and nice a couple days until 6:30 or so ... I guess we need to ride in the early Am .. I am afraid I would have to sit on a Towel until I get my reconditioned seat back from across the way...

I am always riding here in St. Pete. I put miles on in the evenings, and if you want to ride you can go to delphi forums scrctb.com. I ride with southern cruisers chapter #5. But I lead evening rides 2 or 3 times per week. Hope to see you soon.

I appreciate the welcome! I was so excited about the X that I forgot about the damn hurricane...my bad! I hope everybody is doing OK.

I picked up my Black 2003 1800 Retro over the weekend. It was a long ass drive to North Carolina and back. The dealer was great and very accomodating on the my pick up.

I installed a set of Cobra Slip-Ons the first day I brought her home. I love the noise but the popping sucks. I guess I will have to do the Smog Mod or pop for a power Commander.

I will hook up for a ride with you guys soon...trying to break the bike in right....FAST!
