rattles

I own a new vtx1800r 06. It's making a bunch of rattling noises that i suspect is coming from the rock screen on the radiator. On top of that racket is another rattle coming from the heat shields on the exhaust. Has anyone else experienced this racket and were they successful at quieting it down?

I don't have an answer but wanted to say that I have a 2007 1800T that is new and seems to have some rattling as well, I can't really tell where is coming from because it usually occurs under load during acceleration...but I too am curious if anyone had this on new bikes and did anything to fix it?

That is exactly when my 1800 makes all the racket!! I brought it to the shop today and had them address it. I will let you know how that turns out.
