Clayton Root Mod anyone....

All,

I'm looking for anyone who has a VTX1300 that has done the Clayton Root 'drilled exhaust' mod, AND is planning on being at the August 28th San Antonio meeting. I just want to hear exactly what I'm getting myself into.... Before I get the drill bits out!!!!

I drilled the pipes on my bike, and I think that for 500.00 set of aftermarket pipes, I'm very satisfied with the sound. Remember, 1000.00 set of pipes is not going to make a Honda sound like a Harley. I do plan on going to the San Antonio ride, you can hear them there.

I did the mod and liked it alot. But then needed to spend some more money and couldn't resist buying some pipes. See ya at the rally and hopefully at my house for the Sunday BBQ. I have the pipes sitting at my house if ya want to pop em on and hear the sound......
