Well, I got back Sunday morning from a weekend bike trip with some friends and later that night my wife began with contractions. The next morning, Monday, at 8:41 our son Garrett was born 6weeks early, but is doing great. All organs are functioning and he's breathing on his own. He's on the smaller side at 4# 15oz, but he's at the correct size for being 6 weeks early. Mom is going home tomorrow, but Garrett will be here at the hospital for a couple weeks.
I'm a dad!

Congrats on the new baby boy!!!! Is it your first? I have teo girls 4 and 7 they are a hand full. Would have loved to have a boy but I wouldn't change my girls for the world. When they get older and start seeing boys I might changs my mind:shock:

I agree Wireman. I would have loved to have had a boy, but feel the same way. My daughter turns 8 in a couple weeks. IMO I think boys are more handfulls.
And :congrats: on the new one Greg!!! Kids are great, and definetely changed my life. I owe my bike to my kid I figure. Had she not been born, I probably would'nt have straightened out and cooled down my party attitude when I was 21. And thus probably would'nt have had any money or credit to get it when I was 27.
:congrats:
Congratulations Greg. Great news!!
