Okay gang, here it is, a rare request from me.
Any of you that know me, know I seldom ask for help, but here it is.

Here's the deal.
My current landlord is selling this house, and making us move about 3-4 months before the new house is ready (yeah, it sucks, I've tried to get them to postpone, but no go). So we're moving into an apartment as a short term. That means moving twice in the next 4 months (ugh).

I can't afford to pay a mover twice.

So I need some volunteers, at least for this first move.
We're moving from the house in Mill Creek, to the apartment in North Bend on June 27. I'll have the truck, I just need some able bodied folks to help me load & unload.
I'll buy the beer (which you can have AFTER the truck is unloaded). And lunch (between the load & unload).
I can't even offer a decent bar-b-que until after the house is done. We'll be going into an apartment, with next to no space. But there are some burger joints in North Bend with decent chow. After lunch, we can unload.

Once the house is done, I'll have y'all out for a bar-b-que dinner.

And hey! Bring your bikes. It will give the apartment a good warning when I pull in with the truck, and a biker escort! :D

Again, it will be Saturday June 27. I'd like to get the truck loaded by noon, and unloaded ... well, the same day, so I need all the able bodies I can find.

Thanks in advance!!

I'm in. I will have my Chevy Express ūton van available to transport anything you don't want to stuff into a moving van.

I requested that weekend off for another purpose but several others beat me to it. Will try for the 2nd move.

I'll see what I can do. I have a commitment in Bellingham in the morning but might be able to make it down to help with the off load.

To all of you who volunteered, THANK YOU!!! I'll send PMs with specifics (address, directions & such).

Here's what is happening.
The wife decided to make this a hybred move.
She hired a mover to do the furniture (yeah, all that nice big bulky stuff), and we'll handle the boxes!
So, the mover is supposed to be here about 8:00am to pick up the furniture. If we give them 4 hours to load, that means we start loading boxes about 11:00. Shouldn't take but a couple of hours to load them up & head for North Bend.

So, lets plan on 11:00 to start loading boxes.

Again, THANK YOU!!!
