The EYE pasted thru here to the west of us in Lakewales. at 7:30 Pm and the winds were still 75 Mph . don't see much damage around here. Hope all the VTX riders faired as well as I , no one hurt or property damage... Irommorph I hope you didn't go for that ride but I'm sure you could have Run 75+ 130= 205 in the wind.....see you all after the storms... 2 more coming VTXlady hope you are dry...........

My best wishes go out to all of you in the areas that got hit. I did a small ride in the Pinellas area because I was so bored with watching the weather. I hope someone starts a thread if they are needing help. I have a good friend that lived on the water in Port Charlotte that I still have not heard from.

Still a lot of friends we haven't heard from also. It's still early and a lot of communications are down. Port Charlotte really got blasted, hope you get good news soon. Haven't heard from any of the Lake Wales and Sebring X'ers yet. I'll keep watching the posts and looking for news.

The family is okay. Lots of damage all around the area but it looks like our house is okay. Still gotta check the roof but no obvious leaks. Trees down all around us. No power but we do have water and phone. Downtown has power and all the systems are up at work. I'll try to check back in on Monday.
