Gents,
I know a pack of Mother's Mini PowerBall is only around $20 but I'm a cheap SOB. Is there anyway to clean one of these after it's all black from cleaning the aluminum rims?

Some hot water and dish washing soap and it will look almost new.

I'm pretty sure they say they can be washed and reused some 20 times. I have a mothers and am sure it said something similar too. I ussualy just wash mine in the wash machine along with my "garage towels" and it works. It doesn't turn nice red again but it is still clean and debris free. But most of my stuff is black from polishing chrome and wheels.
Also, sometimes I do a pre wash with dish soap before I put it in the laundry machine. I usually wash my hands still wearing my mechanics gloves with a greese cutting soap every few uses and will just scrub up the ball while doing that. works great for the gloves and what ever else is greesed up.

:agree: soap and water, I've cleaned mine a dozen times already and it's still as good as new.

I'm happy to hear that there is such a simple solution to this question. I did honestly look over the box for "cleaning" instructions but I did not see any...:dontknow:
Thank you all for your suggestions....
