visiting have one free day

Hello there folks - I am in San Diego for 2 weeks - I have one "free day" and I wanted to rent a bike and ride the coast - the hills both? - Probably rent a harley - love to rent a Gold Wing instead though....

any suggestions for a nice day ride - scenic off the highway (well out of too much traffic)

Be there June 26 through July 7 but my free day is July 1

Thanks I have been looking online but would prefer the reccomendation of a local -

Highway 94 takes you south, kind of warmer this time of year, not hot, just warmer. Some twisties and not alot of elevation change.

Up through Barona to Santa Ysabel/Julian is an AWESOME ride. Julian is a huge biker hangout on the weekends. During the week it should be pretty quiet. Twisties, country rodes, elevation changes, you name it.

Up the coast starting in La Jolla and head all the way up to Oceanside. Beautiful coastline.

Three completely seperate venues, just depends what you want.

Heck, I'd even be willing to meet up for a ride if you wanted to.
