We haven't had a/c at work yet this year. There's a thermometer in our shop and yesterday it hit 101.

the suggestion to ride early and late is right on. i know many have wondered why northern in and oh seem to have more bikers than we do in the mid south. they have 5 months straight of ideal riding weather. son-in-law and i rode over 300 mi sat. still recooperating.

Never too hot to ride! When I think about how warm it is outside, I then think about those friggin cold days of no riding. I dont mind riding when its is hot, but that cold, shoo, that will get you.

I would have to agree with Toaster about the warm weather . . . yeah it's pretty stinkin' hot out, but I can ride in the heat . . . it's warm wind, but at least I can feel my digits.
Riding in the cold, I can only put on so many clothes . . . feel like the Michelin Man on my bike, and my hands and feet STILL get cold!!

Oh you Yankee weenies in Tn don't know hot, ride down I-55 about 3 hours south. 100 degrees and 100% humidity. You won't need to carry water, you can just drink the air. I've got a 17 mile ride home from work with 15 of it on the interstate and I'm soaking wet by the time I get home.
I think we need a "it's so hot....." thread. Like, it's so hot my neighbors pigs melted and the grease flowed into my garden and french fried all my potatoes.

Now just cuz some of us live here don't mean we're from here. Personally I've got you beat by a ways... I from South Lousiana where it's always on the plus sides of 100 deg. & humidity. That's why I moved up here where it's cooler, to beat them LA. summer days...

Is that what happened? My boot heels got stuck in the pavement before I got over there...nojoke
95 isn't to bad in June, I'm already putting a plate under my kickstand.
PS: My 84' Benz has no A/C so riding is still better. Only thing that gets to me is the car & truck fumes in stop & go traffic.
