I just sold my SUV, and bought a new 2009 GMC 1500 Sierra. The new truck we just bought uses a H-11 bulb, so I took the HID kit outta my SUV, which is about a year old, or less.

It has HID on low beam, and Halogen on high. It also has a smaller bulb for cars equipped with daytime running lights, like my 2008 Honda CR-V

If you were thinking of upgrading your Cars/Suv's, or Trucks lights to HID, nows the time, as I paid over $250.00 for this kit, I'll sell it for $100.00 shipped to your door !

PS, if you touch the HID bulb with your finger, the bulb will burn out pre-maturely. I was VERY carefully removing and installing this kit, as I have HID's on all my cars and motorcycles.

I accept Pay-pal

$100.00 shipped to your door!

PS, once you put HID's into your car, you'll never go back yo halogens, trust me, thats why I own 4 cars and had 4 motocycles and all of them had HID's ! Just see my write up on the how to section on these forms on installing HID's on the VTX!

I got home tonight and got flooded with Pm's asking if these will fit the VTX

The VTX takes a H4/9003 style bulb. The only difference in a motocycle HID kit, and a car HID kit, is that the motocycle kit comes with a slim line ballast.

Even when I mounted the motocycle kit on my X, I put the ballast under the gas tank, up by the front sterring neck. This way the ballast remains cool, and is not stuffed up inside the headlight can.

The difference with this kit, is it has the smaller H3 bulb for daytime running lights. I guess you can remove that smaller bulb, andjust use the HID for the X. I'm not sure, so I would not buy the kit for the VTX. If you do so, your buying it to install at your own risk. If it works, then you could probabley sell the other bulb for the same money, who knows.

But to answere your questions, the kit I have came outta a SUV, with daytime running lights.

This kit is a 10,000K bulb, please see the responce to a member I worte back:

The HID kits go by bulb styles. As long as your vehicle takes a H4/9003 bulb, you'll be good. I paid about $270.00 If I remember , As I always get the best kits on the market at that time.

The Balast says HID 35watt on it, (DOT) is also on it. It doesn't have any markings as to who makes it.

I can't remember where I ordered it, as I have them in all my motocycles and cars, I ordered probabley 8 HID kits in the past 2 years

Anyways, they are a ( 10,000K ) bulbs style, so thats important to know. The 6,000K are pure white, 8,000K is a whitish/bluish, and the 10,000k has alittle more blue tint to it. When you look at the car, you can't really notice the bluish tint, but going down the road , everything looks awsome at night. Hope this helps
