The problem was he was tired after his long trip and got a little over baring with his attitude and what happens when that happens? PLAY THE RACE CARD! “You’re only doing this because I'm black”! Just goes to show that until everyone gets over what has happened in the past there will always be racism. Hell Senator King couldn’t even call Michael Jackson a pedophile without being called a racist! Anyone who questioned Obama about his friendship with William Ayres was called a racist. If you say anything about a black person now you’re a racist. From what I’ve heard about Professor Gates he’s not really the blame whitey type but as with most people when you get someone tired and worked up their real feelings come out. He felt oppressed and just said too much so to relieve his embarrassment he just had to pull that card and blame the “white” police officer. This wouldn’t have been an issue if it was the black or Hispanic officer who had made the contact because he wouldn’t have gotten so upset or if he did, he wouldn’t have been able to play the race card.
