It seems my bike has been leaking gas into my engine since the beginning. I know that is the reason for the shifting problems and engine noises, and flooding. I took it in shortly after I bought it, and the Maint. manager, told me nothing was wrong, I just didnt know anything about motorcycles. I told him fine, when the bike breaks down, then come pick it up. 22,000 miles later, that time has come. Who knows how it will turn out.

I have been trying since last week to have my bike picked up. FCH is in the middle of their move. I do have the extended warranty, and the service manager seems like he will honor the warranty, we'll see. I'm hoping there are still some people out there that will stand behind their product.

The service manager found that one of the plug wires was broken, he said by the corrosion on the wire, that it was probably bad from the beginning. I don't care anyway, because now I don't have to worry about carburetors any more, now I have to acclimate to fuel injection.

Sounds like an op for a break-in ride. Some one wanna let him ride
bi-otch to the dealer then a short ride to lunch maybe? Lots of possible
way-points from St Augie, A1A in either direction. Or 207 to Gator Landing or 3 Banana's

Les, don't you ever sleep? I have to remove some stuff from my bike, so I have to cage it to the dealer on Saturday. I'm back to quiet pipes, no windshield, or bags.
