Welcome SoundSys - I'm in Bethlehem, not too far from you. Check out the post for the meet & greet which we are trying to reschedule for the 28th at Bucks County Custom Cycles. We usually manage to get 5-10 VTXers together.

Welcome 4U.
I'm a rag salesman...new and used. I get the used ones from the Capt and 1800vtxr02 (or what ever his name is). The new unused ones I have stocked. I will bring a few of both on our next ride and let you select the perfect rag that will fit your cleaning style.
By the way...make sure you don't follow T-Bone22.
I and that 02vtx1800r (or what ever his name is) live in Southern Chester County.

Ragman!
You crack me up. I thought about your poor VTX as I was cleaning mine today.
Dennis and I sadly decided to cancel our Wellsboro trip. The weather (especially Saturday) just looks too crappy. We needed to cancel the rooms 24 hours in advance, or get stuck.
Since the weather to the south looks much better, we decided to take another tour through the Maryland shore points tomorrow. We are going to stop at the place on 301 where the eagle almost dived into you, and say a few words. We may even decide to stay overnight somewhere. We are living life on the fly, like REAL bikers! Wish you were coming along. Well, I'll see you for that Rehobeth trip on the 30th.

Welcome mhvtx04! Ok I admit I had to search to see where Kempton was but I see you are not too far away. I've been thinking about doing a Route 6 run myself. Maybe you can provide some pointers.
Glad to have you aboard!

Gee, if I wasn't going to Lancaster to the Retreads breakfast on the 29th, and to Fenwick Island on the 30th, I might go to Shady Maple on the 30th....Better not, I gained 5 lbs on my trip out of town last week!!
If anyone is interested in the Retreads, it's a motorcycle organization for riders over 40 years young. The Eastern PA chapter meets at the Hershey Farm Restaurant on Rt 896 (North of Strasburg, PA and just south of US Route 30) on the last Sunday of each month at 9:00 AM. Great bunch and lots of neat bikes (Gold Wings, Trikes, you name it).
The latest weather forecast for the ride to Fenwick Island on the 30th is still "up in the air" (excuse the pun). Maybe showers, maybe not. Showers ain't bad, but it's the all day soaker that isn't any fun. No one LIKES to ride in the wet weather. We'll see by Sunday afternoon what the forecast says, and I'll put something on here. Keep your fingers and toes crossed that our great weather holds out.....

Aren't you coming to the meet & greet on Saturday, at Bucks Co. Custom Cycles? I thought you were in from the beginning.

Hi Cap. I was in, when it was on the 14th. Can't make it tomorrow, have to fix my broken TV (need to go to Wilmington to get a power supply board). My wife was supposed to be showing a dog at the Wilmington dog show tomorrow, but the dog got sick, so she won't be going. I'll be thinking of you guys, and hope to see you on Monday.....

Steve,
It was nice for me to meet a couple of new VTX Riders at the Bucks Co. event. The event itself was a little bit of a letdown. Lots of pretty, pretty bikes, though! BIG PRICE TAGS. It was hot, but bearable on the bike.
