Decel popping

Does anyone have any info. on the air box modification to eliminate the deceleration popping on the VTX with aftermarket exaust. I keep hearing references to it on this web site, but have been unable to locate the info. I really need to cure this problem!

Look up Biglry's article on the air box mod. You may find it quicker on the Calf. riders board under the tech articles menue. I did the de-smog, the ground fix, the air box mod, pair cover block, header gasket torque, the take off the pair block and re-seal, and the intake clamp tighten check and my bike still barks. My headers have never been off but I bought new gaskets to put on to see if that will work. RileysVTXHome is another site with alot of information.

It sounds to easy but I stuck a pen cap in the large hose behind the air cleaner and Done.
I didn't want to remove the pair valve stuff in case of EPA crap in future inspections
