The type of system we are running to, France is trying to run away from. You notice that France is trying to introduce co-pays. Something we have here. France is trying to mold their system to our current system. shouldn't that tell you something. The health care for everyone plan doesn't work and will fail. In the article it talks about a hospital that had to close a maternity ward because of costs soaring, which I thought this system was supposed to reduce, and she had to have the baby in a fire truck. Now, what if your local hospital had to close their cardiac center and the closest hospital was 20 miles away. On top of that the ambulance service is no longer available due to cost cutting. Good luck with that heart attack or stroke.

Instead of pushing this through and shoving it down our throats, let's take our time and think it through and come up with a plan that works and won't bankrupt the nation.

France is paying the price for its past liberal agenda.

I started reading Glenn Beck's new book. Had to put it down b/c I get so angered at what our so-called representatives are doing. He just echos my own feelings (and articulates them better too)! Some days I just want to go live on a compound in northern Idaho.

I'm not sure because I don't live in that part of the state but the compounds in Idaho have been mostly taken out by the Feds. If I'm wrong somebody let me know please.

On our trip up this summer I talked with a young woman from Canada who works in the Canadian health care industry. She said that it is getting better now that many doctors have opened private clinics and people who can afford it can get treatment without the long wait.:-? sb
