WASHINGTON (AP) - President Barack Obama is welcoming an
improved national employment report, saying his administration has "rescued our economy from catastrophe."
In an appearance on the White House Rose Garden, Obama applauded a Labor Department report earlier Friday saying that the jobless rate declined to 9.4 percent from 9.5 percent a month earlier. But he said much more needs to be done and that he won't rest until "every American that is looking for a job can find one."

What a relief, I was worried that the trillion dollars they used for the economic stimulus was a waiste.:roll:

ye the economy is great last month in the county I live in here in ohio the jobless rate is only 18.5% Just so many jobs to be had nobody want all these jobs.

So now he is almost ONLY 1% over his estimated employment figures and he is claiming that a victory? Instead of a full 1% over the estimate.
