Psalmist

"Goin through all the changes I made so many mistakes, oh yes I did
Tryin to leave behind the heartaches
And sometimes I think I was a little bit crazy, oh yeah
Whoa, I keep pushin on
Keep pushin, keep pushin, keep pushin, keep pushin on
Keep pushin, keep pushin, you know you have got to be so strong
Keep pushin, keep pushin, well even if you think your strength is gone
Keep pushin on"

OK I'm old! Get over it. Some of the old songs still work today. And some don't. Tonight I grabbed my cane and walked around the whole block. For some of you, that may sound trite and no big deal. For me it's a major victory. My cane is Honda red and I plan on riding for many more years. If plan B is necessary, I will trike the bike. I was diagnosed with cancer exactly one year ago. What a roller coaster ride it has been. I am trusting God for a total miracle and my healing will be His testimony of faithfulness.
Philipians 4:13 says "I can do all things thru Christ which strengthens me."
Revelation 12:11 says "And they overcame him by the blood of the lamb and the word of their testimony..."
So I keep pushing on and pressing on. I can't give up and neither can you. You can't quit now. People are counting on you. Press on! Don't give up now!!
Phillipians 3:14
I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
Did you know God has a call on your life. You have a destiny. You aren't an accident of passion between your parents! Everyone has a purpose. God has a wonderful call on your life. I used to worry and cry out to God, "WHAT IS MY PURPOSE?? WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO!!?" Finally, He spoke into my spirit "....Walk."
He just wants us to walk. He will open and close doors. As I was walking around the block, I saw my shadow many times under the full moon and bright streetlamps. In the shadow was my cane keeping my stride steady. I thought of the 23 Psalm.."Yea tho I walk thru the valley of the shadows of death, I will fear no evil. For THOU art with me. THY rod and staff comfort me.." If we could run thru these, or take the train, maybe even ride thru the valleys, it would go quicker. NO we have to walk thru them at times. But they are only shadows, and He's there with us.
If you haven't seen the movie "Facing the giants", buy or rent it this week. If you don't like it, I might refund your money. Nah, can't afford to, but it's a great family movie!!
So, don't give up and DON'T quit. I'm praying for you. Keep Pushin On!
