I was riding last night and my son following close behind. I made sweeping right that went into a long down hill slope. I started to gain speed and that's when it hit me. The wobblelling was uncontrolable, i gained control, but then it started again, i knew i was going down, I looked to the left to try and steer to the grass, but their was mailbox made of brick blocking my path. To the right was a railroad tie with a 6-7' drop. So I opted to go down on the street and tried to bail. I managed 2 maybe 3 steps before I hit the ground rolling with out helmet or protective gear. I was a little stunned but was able to get up and was sore on my shoulders, knees and elbow, not to mention all the road rash i had. Immediately after I realized I was to old for this crap, im no longer gonna skateboard without protective gear. nojoke

So what caused the wobble?:dontknow: VTX's are rock solid machines and shouldn't wobble unless there have been some modifications, tires, wheels, rake etc.

It happened last night about 9pm, and fortunately their were no other witnesses.
You should have seen my attempt to show him how to jump a bike off a ramp several years ago, results were very similar. Luckily that was on dirt. Fun moments with the kids, not so much for me.

Glad you are okay man... I hope a full recovery is in the wings for your road rash... (snicker:rolleyes:) Didn't anybody tell you that SKATE BOARDS ARE DANGEROUS:yikes:
Dude... I remember those days... The bigger you are, the harder you fall... and the older you are, the more it HURTS... 'Specially when you fall on your "pride".;) I decided to stick with something less dangerous too. I am glad to hear that you have provided entertainment for your kids though:thumbup:
