I plan on going this year. I may have to strap on the sidecar, but one way or another, I plan on being there.
I went last year for the first time with my best friend for 48 years. He was in the later stages of cancer and was getting weak, so we did not stay long there. He had a HD Roadglide that he called the doc, and had a long ride back to wichita ks. So it was a short day there for me, and I missed out on a lot of the things that were going on. I could have stayed I guess, but it just felt wrong so I left when he did. He passed away Jan 28th this year, and I am really going to miss him, he was a great guy with a wonderful since of humor. I am looking forward to going this year, but it will be bitter sweet for me because it was the last ride that he and I went on.

on the vtxoa trip forum i have posted a possible meet n greet in fayetteville, i and one other are riding over thursday afternoon. any of you guys are welcome to ride with us if you can get away earlier. I am staying in bentonville and am planning on taking 412 east of tulsa as my route. what say ye ? let's ride...

I have to work in California that week, but will be flying home for the weekend. Pam and I will be riding up from Conway on Friday. Will be looking for familiar faces. Don and Pam

A group of us from Houston will be heading up on the 23rd and be staying until the 26th, sure would like to hook up with you guys at meet and greet. If U know where before the 23rd post it, I can't speak for the rest of the guys, but I will try to show. :doorag::doorag:

we would like to try for satur day ! we will come north on rt. 69 and head east on I 40 ! any times to meet up would be nice ! as we have never done a meet and greet yet! we know one other xer that may be interested in this ! there are several nice places to get to gether and ride there ! just drop us a linr ( fuzzts wife and my self ! ) she has her new custom painted tins on now! looking forward to meting all!

Saturday would work out great, we plan on riding Oklahoma 23 Arkansas 24 rally 25th heading home on the 26th. Going to be a world wind ride, I would love to spend more time, got one of those jobs to attend to though.

We had a Meet and Greet in Sturgis this past August. That was fun and interesting, riding with other bikers from other areas.
Saturday would work best for me, but I am flexible.
If any of you that is more familiar with the area would like to plan a route for the ride, that would be great.

Our group will be getting together for a BBQ and route planning session tomorrow, we will post up our route tomorrow on your board, hope we can make a connection, we have done this in IL, Louisiana, and Arkansas with great success in the past couple of years.

I think I'm riding up Saturday and possibly staying the night with a friend? I had reservations for 3 nights but with all the rain we've been having and my work schedule I had to cancel. I got to at least go up one day though! I've been the last 5 or 6 years and I would hate to miss this year! Is there a breakfast or dinner planned anywhere for Saturday?
