Any New York Police here? Need some assistance.

One of our X Riders has a ticket from 15 years ago in Cambell, (Steuben County) New York. It was for $150.00 and he tried many times to pay it over the years and has sent fax copies of his ID and addmission of guilt but they won't accept it unless its presented in person. Is there anyone here that can help him get through the red tape so he can pay this and clear his name in the State of NY.

Any help would be appreciated here.

when you miss a court date a warrant is put on it. you have to go before a judge to get it lifted. i am a senior court officer.

Question:

If this person is really serious about wanting to clear his name, can't he simply hire an attorney to represent him in front of a judge w/o him having to travel to appear in person?
