Slimey Crud Run

For those that didn't make it in spring...........The Slimey Crud Run will be running again....10/4/09. Good fall run.

Also June and I will be leaving for a week on our long ride for the year on 8/29/09. We ....were ....going out west (Yellow Stone and Glacier NP) but because of work or should I say lack of, our plans have changed. We are going up to Copper Harbor and ride east then around lake Superior (North Shore), end up in Bay Field then home. For some thing different I am thinking of doing a ride report along the way with pictures. Looks to be a fun ride even if there won't be mountains..... man I love to ride in the mountains....

Crud Run is fun, you'll see bikes unlike any you've seen before. Just watch out for the cops in Sauk county, esp. at the entrance to Leland.

Nope. All those roads up there are swell. More fun to get lost than to have a route. :thumbup:

Balou....sadly I'm going to have to back out. The guy that was kinda organizing the ride can't make it. Also the weather doesn't look like it's going to be too enjoyable.

Hopefully sometime we'll hook up on a ride.

Well, there's always next year! I did have an idea of some great roads we could have carved on the way to Leland. I pre-rode some of them last weekend. I did 780 miles in Vernon, Monroe, Richland and Sauk county.

I am approaching 12000 miles on the ODO. Not even a year old yet. :mrgreen:

This versys thing really shines in the mountains. Did 6600 miles in September.

Holy crap!!!!!!!! I don't think I have 500 on mine this year.......although I do have 115 hours in the airplane!!!!!!!!!

Nice day for a ride.....(75 Deg. sunny not a cloud in the sky, no wind, no rain) ....not. We stop in Pine Bluff on way home, had a bite to eat. Great showing.
That honda CRX 6 was nuts. Red line 9500.
Home at 6:30. Dave sounded like you had a nice long ride today and again it was a pleasure to finally meet you.
