Sadly, you're not going to get your money back from MODS.

you need to ask about $6000 to $6500....or Sell your mods and then sell the bike for $4999

No, he's about right on with the 4999. As much as you want to think your bike is worth what you paid for it, it's not. I have alot more stuff on my bike and mine's only a year older and the best and only offer I got was $5000. And that was with all of the accessories. I wish we could sell them for what you want but it's just not realistic anymore.

somebody just offered me 3800.00 for the bike,at that price I might just keep it.I'm not looking to get rich off the bike or make my money back. I would just like a fair offer.

As much as I hate to agree with everyone else, I just paid 4800.00 for mine. It's an 05 with 2000 miles. not a scratch on it. It had a few add ons.

Dude, There is no market for used bikes now. Sorry to say but you can buy a new 2007 VTX1800 c at my local honda dealer for 6799.00 out the door. I'm in the same boat as you. I went to trade mine on a 1800 and they offered me 3000.00 trade in. That sucks but that's where we're at in todays market. I'll keep mine till it want run anymore before I'll give it to them. :dontknow:

Yep, I kick myself all the time for not buying used. I see bikes going for groveling price all the time and it makes me sick. I'll probably give mine to one of my kids or brothers before I'd sell it. You're giving it away anyway if you sell it these days. Plus, as mentioned, really bad time to sell.

I for one, don't think it's really over priced. You may not get that much, but it is certainly worth more than $4999. I just sold my '04, virtually stock except the seat, with 12,500 miles for $4950.

I also don't understand why some members like to crap on these "for sale" posts with price corrections...Does your PM not work? I think a quick note would be nice for instructional purposes, but posting that someone's price is too high in the thread is rude.

If a buyer doesn't like the price, they should move on or make an offer via PM.
