Sure was good to meet up with you guys even though it was by accident, I didn’t know the Meet & Greet was going to be there. I went up to the Summer Fest 2009 rally and ran into you guys, turned out to be really enjoyable time.. :pepper1:I enjoyed the BBQ, the food was great and again it was great meeting with fellow Xer’s. :pepper1:Hopefully I’ll hook up on some riding events with you in the future. I’ll be heading out of town on a job assignment for a couple, three months but when I get home I’ll be looking you up about some rides. Raw Bone,
It was good talking to you at the bbq contest. My son and I enjoyed all the stories about your work. Maybe we'll see you at another ride.

Hey Everybody,
Went over to Ripley, MS today and paid for my speeding ticket that I got on the way to the Meet & Greet Saturday and meet all of you. 70 in a 45 and the fine was $130, I could live with that, but there is an additional $98.50 for the state of Mississippi.
When I asked what the state had to do with it since it was a local Ripley City cop that wrote me up I was told that this is a new fee that the state has tacked on to all tickets even if it is in a small town. :yikes: I might understand it if I had been sited by a state trooper, :dontknow: but thought I'd give you a heads-up. But I still had a good time meeting all of you, and if you're going to run hard you sometimes pay the price.
I have to admit when I asked the cop that pulled me over why he hadn't pulled the SUV that was just in front of me over, "that by the way was out accelerating from me , he said that the SUV was out of his jurisdiction . When I asked what he meant by “Out of his jurisdiction” he said that the SUV was just passing the city limit sign leaving Ripley. I was approx. 200yds behind him. :wrong: When he hit the lights I looked down and was doing approx 60 mph so he might have got his 70 mph reading off the guy in the SUV. I figured there was no use in arguing with him since it was clear that I was getting a ticket.

sorry I missed the BBQ. I really want some, lol. I had a Birthday dinner for my older sis and niece to go to.Thats why I split off after we left the Handshake (??) I did have steak filet though, hehe. So I still ate good. My back itched for a week from the wasp hitting me 3 times when he went in my shirt. three large whelps where he got me. uggg. That was a first for me. I am sure everyone was wondering WTF when they rode by me and I was stripping as fast as I could to get the shirt off. lol

Thanks for answering the question. I saw you pull the vest off and drop it on the road and that's when I knew even before you grabbed your shirt tail that either a wasp, bee, hornet or horse fly had found his way into your shirt! No biker drops his vest on the road except for a real emergency! Now I know it was a wasp!
