Very disappointed that the Winthrop trip is out for me. I have a room at the Inn that is now available. I won’t be up for a ride until Oyster Run. Due to a botched routine colonoscopy (the doctor left three perforations) and an ER trip where I had emergency surgery (they had to remove my right colon), peritonitis, five transfusions later and a ten day hospital stay later I am just happy to be alive….and I am glad I work for a great attorney whose cousin specializes in malpractice cases. You all enjoy and post pictures!

:shock: Sounds like you have been through a battle. I have had my coloscopy experince already in life and as a nurse I know perforations are very rare but for a doc to perf 3 times and let you walk out is just plain malpractiv=ce they should always do a pass when they are done they are under camera the entire time so they can see what they are doing. Guess I got lucky. Just for the record, it was Dr. Sugar at Waldron Endoscopy Center in Tacoma.

Oh man - everything just seems to taste better today :)
