Iron Butt Ride - Short Notice

Hi All,

I'm organizing an Iron Butt ride out of Connecticut this weekend. I know it's short notice, but we just made the decision tonight. If anyone is interested in joining us for this ride, we'd welcome all who want to ride.

We're planning to head out of the Hartford area, running just west of Buffalo, NY, and then heading back over the same route.

Thanks! I've already completed one Iron Butt SS 1000 (almost made the 1500 mile BBG). My butt won't hurt (I hope...) My main problem is that my legs get restless. My last Iron Butt ride was on my VTX, and it was not bad at all. This one will be on a Goldwing, which makes me cramp up a bit.

But, a friend wanted to get his IBA certification, so I said I would setup a ride for him.

I do appreciate the good thoughts! Sure you don't want to go?

Well, we both completed the ride, in just under 18 hours. Great ride! No problems, no tickets. The moon made it very easy to see at night, and the miles just clicked by.

Now, sleep...
