Also a little warning there is road construction about a mile or 2 before the cabelas exit, leave yourself some extra time!
You can also take rt40, get off either Tylorstown or claysville exit. Turn left off rt40 onto 41 dallas pike, go a few miles then turn right at the hotel. At that point you'll be running parallel with rt70 & all the construction slow downs.
Also construction right after the washington exits, this can get bad also.

i went to cabelas last saturday. It took at least ten minutes to get from the dallas pike exit to cabelas drive a total of one mile!!

It was the BIGGEST Car Cruise yet. Both lots were FULL and the grass was covered with cars as well. Great turn out as well. George, Carl, Jim, John K and I were there. We should have got there earlier, there was soo much to see and lots of eye candy as well.
No, Carl does not have a Cell Phone..... that was a joke.
THANKS GEORGE !!!

Sorry for the late response. I haven't visited the site until today.
I did not go today as the weather sucked here in the morning. My GTO has a painted undercarriage, so it does not go out in the event of rain or the mere threat of rain.

Painted is better than bare metal..... Did you use Por-15 paint or ???
So you and Carl have the rain thing in common, just with different vehicles. ;) But Hey, I don't blame you either... it was kinda wet wasn't it.

The floor is painted body color & cleared, the frame/suspension is painted black & cleared, etc. The exhaust is stainless, all suspension components & all fuel/brake lines are new. The fuel tank is new & still bare metal.
I have detailed & waxed the underneath of this car twice. It is a major job to do.
The picture below was taken befor the car was finished. It was while I was installing the exhaust. That is why the clamps are not in the proper place & there is no driveshaft.

Carls white diamond?
Nope, 'out of the box' polished. They are a high grade of stainless, so they don't really need any polishing after you drive it. They still look just like that picture after 2300 miles.
