Anyone interested in a local back roads ride Sunday or Monday morning.... I can't venture out for too long but a 3 hour ride on the local back roads would be nice. Be back home in time for lunch. I have been cruising around Merrimack/Amherst/Bedford/Goffstown lately and have found some really nice back roads with fresh pavement... If anybody is interested...

I won't be back from New York till Sunday night and have to work Monday, so a Monday morning ride before lunch is a possibility. I'll have to check the board from my cell phone and see what's up.

Ken I'm up for a ride. I do have a family BBQ at another brother's place around noon. The route is fine. Depending on when we hit the road, it looks like there would be a couple of routes that I may be able to cut to end a little short if I have to make up some time.
Looks like an 8:30 start would cover the whole route. If we left at 9:00, I'll just adjust.

I hope you guys realize how lucky you are to have such great rides so readily available. Here in the flat lands of Nebraska you have to look hard for such rides. We have some great scenery but the ride between such places can be kind of flat. My brother-in-law and I just made a one dayer up to Lewis and Clark Lake on the Nebraska, South Dakota border near Yankton,SD.We planned to leave on Thursday and come home Friday. That all changed because it was a constant downpour on Thursday. We left Friday morning and made the 370 mile round trip an all day and into the evening ride. You all enjoy your ride.

Back from New York and finally got some sleep. Elvie is still sleeping. I'll double check with her when she gets up to see if she wants to go, but I may make it solo if she doesn't want to go. Definitely need to get out for a ride.

Well it was a short night of sleep but the cool morning ride helped keep me fresh.
Ken the route was really awesome. I was thinking that you must have been following some paving crews to see what roads they were covering. We had plenty of brand new asphalt to cruise about on.
As always, we had many laughs, quoting celebrity comedians and throwing in some of our own material.
I think our penpal from Omaha would be jealous of all of the twists and turns and hills we travelled. Very good morning!!!

Got out of the recon business for a few hours sunday morning. Joined SeaRay220 and some of our nieghbors for a quick run up 153 to 16 to the Scarecrow bar and grill for lunch. Around 140 miles I think. The break did me good, got alot done over the 4 day weekend.
