Good ride today

Took a ride out to Jc whitneys today got her up to 120mph and she could of and wanted to keep going but that was fast enough for me!!!! Anyhow nice long enjoyable ride . Rt. 6 is a nice ride. Anyone else ever make that trip?

Yeah I been out that way several times. Starved rock runs. And Well JC whitney is right there as well. And yes I agree Route 6 is nice. But now comparing it To route 2 up by Dixon. I'd take route 2 hands down. But I'm sure it does not even begin to compare to the dragon.

I run Rt. 6 at least twice a year out to Starved Rock. Nice road...

Just a note. We stopped at a place called "slammers" I think that was the name. Just south of Joliet. Was kinda dead when we were there(6:00) on Sunday we had a burger and couple drinks. Looked like it could get intresting in there considering the shiny pole in the corner!!! Had pool table a few of those bar video games .....anybody ever been there

Place is called Sara's Slammers. I see where it's at now; by the casino I presume. I'll have to check it out. Maybe a potential TWTh meeting place.

We ride that direction often. We went to The Cajun Connection (on #6 Utica) last Saturday evening. Then on to the lodge at Starved rock.

I like the ride back by the river to Morris and back roads home.
