I have a Harley Batwing Fairing complete for sale. I thought that I would like a fairing with radio and speakers, but it is not for me so my loss is someone’s gain. I have constructed the fairing using a harley inner and outer faring with the harley brackets. I installed a harley tach and headlight. Also I built a coupler for the tach so it would work on our VTX. This is mounted on an 1800C. I mounted it to the 1800 C with Memphis shade brackets which are not included, as I am putting my shield back on the bike. A lot of the ideas for this fairing came from this board from a lot of different mods and I would like to sell it complete to someone on this board. Please look at the pictures and if you have any questions ask. Below is what is included with the fairing. I am asking $750 plus shipping for the complete faring, radio speakers, instrumentation. I have over a $1000 in it. I only put good stuff into this setup, no junk.

Inner fairing
Outer fairing (painted to match 2002 1800C silver bike)
JVC HD-AHD59 radio I installed this radio so I would be able to add anything I wanted. The radio is XM capable, Bluetooth, HD ready, USB slot plus a lot more
Polk audio speakers and tweeters with crossovers DB5250 Excellent speakers.
Oil gauge and hose and fittings to hook up on your bike
Volt gauge
Relay and terminal strip for wiring.
Tach and coupler
Harley headlight and trim ring
Shield
Faring mirrors
Aux cig lighter.
Radio power up hidden antenna.
The only thing you will need to set this up on your bike is a Memphis shade brackets to bolt to your bike. If you mount this on the “C” your speedometer will fit in the hole as I have done then you will just have to install riser caps. I had ordered riser caps from Aeromach and they moved their production to N.C. and are still not filling orders so I cancelled the order. I had run a wire from my battery to the relay that I mounted to control the fuse block I installed for all of the electrical. It took me several months during this last winter to bring all of this together, but should only take you a day to have a faring as everything is done except mounting. When I ship I will try and keep everything in tack so all you have to do is mount and wire one wire. Also if you have any questions I will be glad to answer. If you live near to Tulsa, Ok I would be more than glad to help you install it.SOLD

I am pretty sure it will mount on a retro. What I am not sure about is where your speedo is and if it will remount into the fairing?

I had removed the speedo out of my C and mounted in the fairing, but I believe the retro you are unable to do this. Isn't the speedo mounted on the tank?

Yo dude...its only been up for 5 days...$750 for an item thats not needed to make the bike run may take some thinking about...it matches my bike color and I would like to have it but don't have the $750 today....items on here stay for a week or so and they only want $100 bucks for it...I'm going to send u an IM and see what we can work out to get it sold in one piece...minus the speedo, I'm sure...just hold on.

Make me an offer. I would prefer to sell it whole, but if I seperated it out I could get close to $750 or more. Like I said I would prfer to sell it to someone on this board so they could enjoy a nice fairing so make me a fair offer and we can go from their.

Curious, why did you not like the fairing?

When I am not going on long trips I remove the shield because I like the look of the bike without it. Also after taking a long trip with the fairing I discovered that you still get a lot of wind noise along with the radio. Prior to the fairing I always wore earbuds with an XM radio and life was good. With the radio I was not near as comfortable than I was with the earbuds so I am going back to my original set up. Each their own and a fairing is not me one thing though is I will never have to worry about buying a bagger.

I'm the proud new owner of this wing setup, and i just wanted to let the group here know that Terry is a stand up guy everyone should feel safe doing business with. He packed the thing better than I have ever seen anything packed and had it shipped out quick. I didn't have time till this weekend to put it on but it went with out a hitch. His detailed instructions and every bolt and washer needed was included. I basically just wanted to say thanks to Terry and the board for all the great support and info. I know he spent a lot of time on this piece and I promise to take care of it and enjoy the tunes!!
Thanks again,Tim
