Hi, ya'll
A friend and biker needs you help. Since Norman Smith doesn't ride a VTX, I'm sure you don't know who he is. To me, Norman is a friend that needs help. He was diagnosed with terminal cancer. His wife passed recently and he has been unable to work because of his advanceing illness.
His biker buddies have set up a bike ride and cookout for this Saturday the 28th.
Lunch will be provided at Lake Louisa State park on hwy 27 just south of Clermont. Tickets are 6.00 each and can be purchased at Performance Honda in Oakland Sat. morning. That little 6 bucks will get you a police escorted ride thru Lake Co. back roads and on to the park (park admission included!). There will be food, prizes and entertainment. Families welcome...no bike needed to attend and have a great time on the lake.
The bike ride should last about an hour and a half. Kickstands up at 10:00am. Get there early for coffee and doughnuts!!
Thanks to you all,
Larry
PS..free Disney t-shirts to the first 200 "riders".

Larry, this sounds like a great event and a sad but worthy cause. Sorry I can't make it due to a prior commitment, but our best to your friend and his family. I hope you get a HUGE turnout.

I hope you got the directions clear now, Kevin. I also hope you can make it Saturday. Where else are ya gonna get a police escort and lunch for 6 bucks!!
The ride leaves Performance Honda at 10am, but get there early for the first prize drawing. The first one is just for the bikers and it will be done BEFORE the ride.
Glad your brake problem is fixed, and hope to see ya Sat.

Still No seat WAhhhhhhhh!!!!! I did install new plugs . The Air filter is new I removed The Smog system That is why I took off the Tank and it Had only 52 miles on the fuel I had cleaned up the Boo-Boo on the left side fixing to use some Polishing compound to see what it would look like. Turned to put the tank on a safe area. It flipped upside down slipped out of my hands and landed on the left foot of the Motorcycle Jack. Puttin a big dent on the Side..WAH-Wahhhh. :x :( :o   now tomorrow I gues I shall adjust the valves and see if I can mess that up. I hope to be able to ride a couple weeks before Daytona....

Hey, Big Mac,
Glad you two can make it Saturday. Winnie and I will be there a little before 9:00am. I doubt the rest of the guys will need help with tickets and such, so I'll just wander around drinking coffee and checking out the bikes.
Thanks to all of you that attend our little party for Norman. It aint fancy or professional, and we didn't have much time to put it together. But, Norman is a good guy with nothing left but his 16 yr old son. What he does have is a group of crazy friends that want to help. Of the money raised; 100% will go directly to Norman. All expenses are paid by his friends or have been donated.
Thanks again to all of you. See ya Saturday.
Larry
