Rides for the weekend of 8-28

Hello Everyone,

Anyone planning on doing any sort of riding this weekend baring any rain, and me being able to get my bike fixed in time? Was just wondering. Would still like to run down and hit Daytona, but really willing to do about anything. Just hope the Honda place takes care of me this afternoon so I have a bike for this weekend.

Hey Martin, sorry to hear about all the scooter concerns. I'm sure it will be right by this weekend. I've promised a friend that I would help him move on the 28th. Bad for riding, but I'm a good friend and like to help out when I can. Sorry, but Sat is out for me.

Just wanted to update people. I still dont know if they are going to have my bike ready by Saturday. I was told by Honda it would depend on if they got the part in tomorrow or not.

Will post tomorrow before I leave work.

Also, I am disconnecting the internet at home, during the week I can sneak on and check the board during lunch and stuff. I can make arangements for people to have my cell number if we need to talk on the weekends.
Vortex and Mike should both have it at the moment. Hopefully we can get a nice group thing going and get some rides going here.

Just talked to the Honda peole. My part did not come in today, they expect it in on Tuesday. However, that means that I have no motorcycle for yet another weekend. =o( Also, there is supposed to be a 50 percent chance of rain tomorrow.

Stuart, if you feel like making a run, I am going to drive down to Daytona tomorrow and check out Corbin and whatever else I can find. I know it is not as good as riding a scooter, but if you feel like riding along, let me know.

I was just checking the board. I won't be riding this weekend cause I am in ILL. going to my 25 year class reunion. :o Always said I would not go to one cuzz..I didn't like them people when I went to school with them and damn sure don't likem any better now.

I'll go down but probably will go on the bike. I put my risers and handle bars on today and "what a difference a day makes". I feel like I am riding in an office. A friend of mine might be going too on his(sorry about this) Harley . I know I know. Please forgive me. He's a nice guy. Let me know when you are leaving and your route. I'll try to co-ordinate

Possibly making a run down to St. Augistine this weekend, weather permitting. But just like you VorTexx, the guy I will be riding with rides a , well you know, we do not have to mention it here. LOL!!!! :D . I'll keep posting on this ride.
