Anyone going to Talladega on Sept 11? I did this ride last year and it was great. $35 gets you in to a BBQ, live band, March of Dimes Ride pin and a ride through the stands and then 5 laps around the track... then you get your pic taken on your bike in the winner's circle. Worth the $'s and besides, the $35 is tax deductable. :D

Klattu - Just to add to Domn8r's great info... the link below will take you to a great site for ride info across the country. It can be filtered by State if desired. The Talledega ride is listed for Sept. 11 and by following the links to the March of Dimes website you can get a lot of info about the event.

This was my first big ride , only had my VTX 1800 R Titainium 2003 for three months and got over 3000 miles . Yes and going over 100mph for the First time and on the track at talladega no less was a white nuckle wide eyed thrill for me ! 8) Lets take off those chains and ride like the wind !
