Was wondering if anyone has tried this free program? Was reading PCWorld and they mentioned it there.

I'm using it to back up my waypoints and routes. I've also used it to transfer waypoints to a second GPS. To be free it does a pretty good job for that.

sounds good I have a Lowrance, also use for fishing. I think I will try it.

Pros: It takes routes waypoints and tracks from my GPS and allows me to make them into GPX files. From there I can store them for later or put them onto Google Earth. It's great. Not a lot of bells and whistles. I like to keep it simple.
Cons: It seems a little bit old. The interface is like windows 95. This shouldn't be a problem but it just looks old. Even the icons show outdated discontinued GPS units.
Hardly a problem. Just that its all function. I Still gave it a full marks.
