8) :pepper1: Scarecrow came up with a great Idea let's see how much interest there is. The next breakfast run to Cassoday is on Sunday the 5th let's see how many Xer's we get to ride up. We have a lot of Xer's signed up in the roll call and Cassoday is pretty central location for most of us. There is always a lot to see and there are several vendors selling stuff. It would give us a chance to meet and visit some. The number of bikes vary cause they are coming and going constantly. Sound off and let us know if you can make the run. CC

My wife and I are planning to run up there on the 5th. I'll be on the VTX and she will be on her '04 750 Aero. We went on the 4th of July. Nice ride. Maybe we could add a few details as this gets rolling (like planned route) so we can kind hook-up along the way. Just a thought.

Doug, I go up Haverhill road most the time there is a small cafe just north of Hwy 400 at the Haverhill exit that may be a good place to meet. We could head back out Hwy. 400 to Hwy. 77/54 north and then up Hwy. 177 to Cassoday. Let's see how many are going we can always plan on a different spot to meet. I'm hopful some of the others from the Wichita area will be going. If we get a big group together I can meet you guys in Wichita it would be awsome to get a big bunch together for the ride.

All,
My wife and I are planning on making it a weekend trip. We'll stay Saturday night in Wichita (shopping in the afternoon), ride up the interstate to Cassoday on Sunday morning, hang out there with our VTX buddies, travel on up 177 to Council Grove for lunch at the Hays House, then back to Wilson (probably up 177 to I-70). I'll be on my X and she on her 1400 Intruder.
All this, naturally, is weather and baby sitter permitting!

C. C.,
We probably ought to select a time and location at Cassoday to meet. I am guessing that 10 AM, at the earliest, would be a good time. I'll also start a similary thread on the MoKan board. As for a location, I am open to suggestions.

:D I think 10:00am will work I would say the best place to meet up will be at the Gas station usally not as many bikes there. The station is on the north end on hwy 177 You will be able to see it as you come off the Interstate and turn south.

C. C.,
The station is an excellent idea, as it has a large parking lot and is easily accessible from the interstate and 177. 10 AM is it!!!!!!!!!

Ok, barring any unforeseen problems the wife and I are planning to ride to Cassoday on 9/5/04. I have a couple of questions. I understand the meeting place, but then what? Does the group ride anywhere else? Do we meet, eat, visit a little and then split?
C.C. Miller

8) The group ride to Cassoday will meet up at the gas station on the northside of Cassoday at 10:00 am there will be more room there to see each other. From there we can get together and take in the sites at the run. We will have a group ride after the run up to Cottonwood Falls through the flint hills on Hwy. 177 and eat Lunch at the Hays House for those that wish to come. Breakfast will be avalible at Cassoday, but the lines are pretty long.

We'll be there, but well before 10:00. In the past, we found that most of the good stuff is gone if we arrived that late.
We're heading down early (maybe we'll get lucky and actually get some breakfast), but will head up to the gas station to meet up with the rest of the KSXers around 10:00.

You know...vendors, kick azz bikes, stuff like that? We always seemed to get the "stories" of the killer bikes we missed because they left before we arrived.
