For those of you who like baseball, next Tuesday night is 'Bike Nite at the Dome'. This event is sponsored by the Metro Chapter of ABATE. You do not have to be an ABATE member to attend.
The cost of the game is $15.00 per person. The Twins will be playing the Texas Rangers. On this particular night, your $15 will get you more than just a ticket to the game. :D
The event starts when you show up to the Whiskey Junction / Cabooze / Joint anytime after 4 p.m. You will enjoy a BBQ-style dinner before the game as part of the package.
At around 6:30, you will simply walk across the street and get on the new LRT at the Franklin Avenue Station and take the train to the Dome. Your round-trip LRT passes are also included in the package.
Your tickets will be General Admission Lower Club seats (left field, lower deck) which sell for $15.00 normally.
Worried about leaving your VTX unattended while you are gone? :shock: Don't worry, the security staff from Whiskey Junction / Cabooze / Joint plus members of the ABATE Chapter are going to stay behind to watch the 'hardware'. Some of these guys are big, mean and ugly and only a fool would mess with your ride while you are enjoying the game. :evil:
After the game, just hop back on the LRT, ride back to our evening's starting point and head on home.
And by the way, you will also recieve a 'surprise' wearable gift as an added bonus so you can remember the event. :D
Unfortuneately, my VTX will still be at home since I have to bring my pickup truck, the canopy, gas grill, coolers, etc. :(

You can print out a flyer with all of the information about the event. You can also purchase tickets on-line using the secure PayPal- just follow the directions. Once you have purchased your tickets, print out a reciept and bring it with you on Tuesday night to exchange for your Twins ticket, meal ticket, LRT passes and other items.
