BIKE SHOP/WEEKDAY RIDES

HELLO ALL FELLOW X ERS OUT THERE.I NEED SOME HELP FINDING A GOOD BIKE SHOP TO DO THE DESMOG/PAIRVALVE MODS.I AM IN JAX.ALSO,DO ANY OF YOU GUYS EVER RIDE ON THE W E E K D A Y S?I WORK SHIFT WORK AND HAVE A LOT OF WEEKDAYS OFF.BE SAFE-----KEVIN

Hey Cap,
I doubt you will be able to find a bike shop to do the de-smog. (legal issues) What we need is a tech meeting where we can all do these things to our bikes. All we need is a couple of guys with some basic knowledge to help us less knowledgeable wrenchers with the tricks. Maybe someone will step up to the plate.

Hi Cap,

Don't know about the bike shop thing. I take my scooter to Honda of Jacksonville, and they do a nice job. As a matter of fact my scoot is with them right now.

As for the weekday thing, I am always looking for something to do on weekday evenings, I generally get off of work around 3:30ish and get home before 4:30 or so. Until they change the time on us, that leaves lots of time to play around. I am never available on Thursdays though, I help tutor math at my local high school.

Let me know if you want to meet up and put around in the evening sometime, I will not be able to do anything until I get my bike back though, I am hoping to have it by the weekend.

I will be back in town on Saturday (8/27??) and am available to ride most days/evenings except Sundays. Let me know when you guys want to ride and I would love to tag along!

For weeks Mike and I have been trying to get you guys together and the minute he is busy lugging furn and I am out of town you guys decide to get together and ride.....just kidding..take care and ride safe..I am in ILL. attending my 25 year class reunion.....Dave :wink:
