In hopes of getting enough money to replace his stolen Accoustic guitars, my dad has put his 335 back up for sale. Let me know if you are at all interested...

The gibson ES 335 is a sweet guitar. killer warm tones. just too big a body for my tastes. I am looking at building a guitar similar to the PRS Modern Eagle II this winter. The dyed blue maple top is sick...along with the rosewood neck

That guitar also goes for around $6g's LOL Hoping to build it for around $1500. Saw the dyed blue top, and fell in LOVE!! Here is is on a quilted maple instead of the flamed

That 335 is a nice looking guitar. Wish I had the money to add something like that to my collection. I love the quilted maple look of the PRS. I would love to build something like that. I suppose if I did it over time I could afford it, but it would take an awful long time.
:yikes: Man them things ain't cheap!

yeah, quality instruments of any kind are definately not cheap. Still running numbers to see if I can come up with the ching needed for parts to build that blue geetar this winter. If I do, I don't want to skimp on parts and would rather it take longer to build than rush it to simply get it done. Someday I will own a real PRS, but probably not the upper end one LOL
