Riding the in the U.P.

Hi Michigan X Riders,Im heading up to the "U.P." to hang out and do some salmon fishing,I know coming from Indiana I could fish closer but I luv da U.P. .So,anyone on here ride up there?The ride from St Ignace to Whitefish Point has got to be great.

I spent last week riding in the UP and you are right, the ride to Whitefish Point is the best. An even better starting point is Sault Ste. Marie, following the lakeshore on the county road. Many curves, no officers.

So far, my U.P. riding experience has been limited to the stretch between St.Ignace and Sault Ste Marie, so I can't help you much. Should be a beautiful ride -- and the forecast looks decent for the coming week.
