Sir, I will have you in my prayers. But I do have a question, my personal poll: Did vote for obama last fall?
Just trying to put all this together, don't take my question wrong.
God will provide something even better!!

09 HD = payments Dude sorry to hear this. I believe I'm next and I'm self employed. If busyness doesn't improve by next February the lease is coming up and I will not be renewing.
Momma always said "You gotta keep going son".
Good luck and take a long ride and clear your head but come back with a solid plan!

Use the weekend to party hearty. By Monday it should sink in and you can formulate a plan. Take it slow and deliberate. Good luck.

Get on the internet, start networking, and looking at job sites..
I got on one, even though I am still employed,to find a second part time job. It brings up local places with job openings...Its free..
You can fill out apps on line...I filled out two this morning, for places less than 8 miles from my house..

Good luck,and get searching....

Sorry to hear that.

Get your resume in order, start networking if havent already. Be ready to accept a entry level job to get a foot in the door(i did back in july and will be moving into mid lvl position. did so in 90 days.). Use the weekend to air out the bike and do what ever floats your boat that you didnt have time for when employed. Remember looking for work is a full time job in this market:thumbup:.

Wow .... you're a lucky man!
( I know it sounds insane me telling you you're lucky )

You now have an opportunity to start anew, one you probably would not take unless forced to do so.

Take a ride, relax a day or so then hit the bricks and find something better then you had two days ago.

Wish you well !!!

Sorry to hear that G, like others have said take a little time on the bike. Get your head clear, and get back into the job market. Good luck with finding new employment. You mite just wind up better off with a new job. Keep your head up and don't let the job define who you are.

Just wanted to say thanks for the words of support and encouragement. Was doing project management, now casting a wide net to see what comes up.

Nice thing is I got a call for an interview today, may not be the job I want or I may not get it if I want it... It is just nice to know I can get someone interested. (if that makes sense).

Sorry to hear you lose your job. I don't know about now but when I lived in Tucson, jobs were pretty hard to come by. I hope this has changed. My wife and I lost our business a few months past due to this ridiculous recession. Thank God we have our regular jobs to fall back on, but we are facing layoffs at both jobs in the near future.

Good luck and keep the faith.

Hope you make it through ok.

Keep the faith!
I've been out of work twice, but that's expected in aviation.
Just went into my fourteenth year this week with the same employer. Never knew you could keep the same job more than a couple of years prior to this one.
Good luck!
