Well.......you may as well scrap this idea since the founder and current regime are no longer looking to be a VTX based club. I have sent an email to them asking they give up the connection and link from the VTXOA since they are only using it for recruiting purposes and NOT to be a NJ Chapter of the VTXOA .....which is why they were given a link from here in the first place. If they give up the connection, then we can restart the NJXRiders as what it should be.......a club by and for VTX owners as stated in their preamble

Our members all share several common interests. We enjoy riding, the camaraderie of group rides, and of course the love of the mighty Honda VTX. We are planning weekend rides, lunch and dinner rides, and we have several fund raising events in the works. If our group sounds like something you would be interested in please feel free to join in on the fun. If you have any questions go to the E-mail page and give us a shout. We hope to hear from you soon.

Kinda sucks that they use this to draw members but don't abide by it . Quite a few of the current members have objected to the changes they are making (including myself) but were told "if you don't like it there's the door". Hopefully they will do the right thing and give up the connection so we can actually have a "NJXRiders" that operates as the rest of the states do

Let it pass..... this forum and this site is a fine platform for jersey riders.
I was a member there just as the original board went thru it's meltdown...
then thru all the bickering and in-fighting as the second board staggered to it's feet...
Even looked forward to meeting up with those "founding" members on a run that happened to be in south jersey; convenient to me for once... a meet that never happened even though I was there. I quess I wasn't considered part of the "gang" so I got the big snub... later I was told it because I was observed talking to one of the "other" "ex-member" guys... :roll:
I never re-registered on the new board there, but visited once and awhile... it was most always about "rules" and how things should be done... membership "requirements"... yada, yada, yada....
Lamont has a great site here... no reason jersey riders can't use this state forum to meet and set up rides, or just hang and shoot the bull...

First off Big Mike if someone snubbed you it was most likely Krazihors because he was the only one who had a problem with the "old" members. And if your that thin skinned I wouldn't hang out with you anyway. And as far as what Krazihors is saying and doing it's called "sour grapes". He quit the club because he was trying to make it his way or no way. He somehow came back to read the tail end of a discussion and is now using it for his own agenda. He is truely a disturbed individual. Our club has a great bunch of people as members. If you want to have us removed from the VTXOA I really don't think much will change.

One other thing, the reason he was removed as a site administrator was because he took it upon himself to be cybor cop for the club. Now he's doing the same thing here. The NJ X-Riders is still 99% VTX we've just expanded to include anyone who wants to ride.

First off i want to apologize to the members of this site... John Quit the njxriders and since he can no longer stir the pot there , I guess he decided to do it here. I sent an email to Wilbur..

Wilbur, Hi My name is Brian .. I contacted you a while back in behalf of the NJ xriders.. I have to apologize for bothering you again.. Its come to my attention that a former member named Krayzihorse aka John , Has sent you an email accusing us of using you for recruting... I'm not sure if we even recruiter. Were not that type of club. We are a message board based club who ride on weekends and as often as we can.. I hope you recall our last email conversation.. I asked if it was OK for us to allow any brands to join... You said it was just fine and we would not loose our link from your site...
John has been a thorn in the Negroids sides since i can remember and he is now trying to hurt us as a group ... I do not want this to keep falling on your lap.. So i just wanted you to know .. The Negroids are allowing any brands to join and would fully understand if we loose our link from you .. We are still and will be for quite a while , a VTX based group.. We do hope to broaden our membership with anyone who truly loves to ride, regardless of what they ride.. We appreciate the hard work you and the vtxoa has done for our loved vtx and want to thank you for that..

Bigmike... I was there in Vin eland.. You were talking to a friend of mine named Chris.. I apologize for the mix up and want to admit i was fooled by Krayzihorse at the time and believed his lies about Chris and some of the other guys... You got caught in the middle and that was wrong.. Me talking to Chris and Don and the other guys again is what has started John on his vendetta against the njxriders..

I just hope you guys can see through this guy...

We are a new club, that has had it's ups and downs. We are continually growing and meeting new people. What John said is completely wrong. Stop by and see for yourself!!

The whole point to this is so NJ VTX Riders have a forum to communicate without being bashed for wanting to be part of a VTX based club, and theres alot of current members of the NJXRiders that feel the same way but don't voice it because then they too will be told to leave .......and with the link tied up at present, theres no where else to go....and as far as I know, no way else to start another NJ chapter of the VTXOA

You saying that shows how much disrespect you give this site... This server you are using to bash the xriders belongs to the vtxoa and was added for free for anyone to use... There are several vtx groups in the garden state.. All of them that i know of have had problems with you .. If you truely want to add to this site and offer Vtx riders a chance to ride.. Then do that ..Don't bash us just because we arn't a dumb as you thought.. We saw through you and so will these guys..

Im asking any member of the njxriders to ignore this for the sake of the guys who do want to enjoy what was given to them by the vtxoa... Lets not let him mess up this site too...

For those of you who want to be in a VTX exclusive club..This is it.. We at the njxriders are promoting for anyone who enjoys riding to join.. We will be vtx based as i and 98% of our current members ride a vtx.. I guess thats the difference between us and John.. He had to go buy a Harley so he can ride in there groups too..We happen to allow anyone and do not need to buy a Harley and then go on about a vtx exclusive club..

Wilber has been sent an email and it up to him to decide if we should keep the link..

Again i want to apologize to all the members of this site... You will learn why we were voting John out as admin when he up and quit.. We allowed him to stay as a member until he kept bashing me personaly and making up lies to try to help with his point..Fortunally for me he only strengthined mine... Hey John, You really are a ****ing scumbag. People were right about you. I kept saying "no johns a good guy" guess I was wrong. All you want to do is cause trouble. I'm not changing the name of the club. The more that pisses you off the more I like it. Maybe you should start your own club. You can call it Scumbag Riders or something. At least I didn't keep my "X" and buy a Harley so I feel comfortable with whatever group I'm with that day. What a ****ing loser.

I know Steve doesn't need anyone coming to his defense but being that I was being quoted here, I thought that if anyone wanted to know what the real story was, should know that there was some confusion between the words "biased and based". This is a resolved and dead issue.

Big Mike, I don't know you and apologize for what happened but there was (is? :lol: ) some stupid crap going on in the club which happens when you get a bunch of people together. Sometimes people just don't agree.
I will say it's amazing that nothing comes up on rides and we have a good time. I've met some really good people in this club and my wife and I will continue to ride with them. Don't take it personal.

I live in Bridgewater (which is a little of North of central NJ) and if you should want to hook up one day, drop me a line.

As far as I'm concerned ..This is the message board for the N.J. Chapter for VTX... He doesn't get it because he is asking us to not only give up the link, But to also give up the name NJX Riders.... Of course we will not give up our name and i guess the link is up to the vtxoa...

You have a bad taste in your mouth about us... Its based on you being snubbed at an event or meet last year... The guy who was to blame there is also the guy bringing this crap here.. (Krayzihorse)

Just check out how this thread was started .. He first tried to promote us , then when he didn't like us allowing other brands to join, He started to bash us... He knew the about us page was out dated and in the middle of being changed and he also knew we allowed any brand to join for many months now... This is just a last stitch effort to cause us the headaches he has caused all along...

This is the last post i will make about this, unless defending myself.. I think theres about 10 people here and i would love to see that grow. N.J has plenty of room for many more clubs or riding groups or message boards... More choices are better for everyone..

nahhh, I don't think so.
This is a state forum put up by Lamont at the request of a couple of us jersey guys who were interested in maybe hooking up on a ride.
This ain't no friggin state chapter board... no one needs to "join" or abide by any of your groups ever changing "rules"... Anyone that wants to belong to your fine organization can easily do so at your chapter's website. I think the addy is here somewhere.
It would be appreciated, by me at least, if you kept any of your chapter problems and or concerns on your own website.

I'm a jersey VTX owner that choose not to become active in "your" organization. I've never badmouthed your group or posted misinformation about it. Sure - I got snubbed by your little "clique", and spoke about it in this thread... but big deal.
It's the internet pal... live your life. I enjoy riding with anyone, everyone, or alone...... but with the attitude you and your pal "Brain" there bring to this house - I can safely assume I ain't missing much by not riding with your "organization".
I was a member there under the first format... re-registered again during the change.
Then - the next format, with all the "rules" by whoever... following on the heels of the "non"-get-together, turned me off.
I didn't run off badmouthing anyone or looking for sites to carry any kinda grudge... I didn't stay to piss and moan about it either.

I don't know "crazyhorse" from "brain" or any of you other gentleman... I had always thought you were the voice of reason over there...
obviously I was mistaken.

Steve... what ever happened in the NJVTX site is part of the history of that site... not here. Just like this feud you guys, including "crazyhorse", decided to bring here..... this isn't the place for it.
It makes your whole organization look like nutcases... if you didn't like what John said, then fine..... say that.

Wow, this whole thread is unbelieveable! Does this sort of crap ever end? I guess that's why a few of the early NJXRIDERS split off into a small group to just ride and have a good time. Opinions will always differ, but this sort of stuff is senseless and childish.

This is nothing.......you should see the warring that goes on since I left as an Administrator, withdrew my membership, and Brian is allowed to run things as he see's fit. They deleted 100 members for God only knows what reason, and even what they thought were the inner circle are walking away because of the mayhem. Brian tries to blame it all on me, but the fact that it's 10 times worse now that I left pretty much tells the whole story
