Greetings from Winfield X-1800-C owner.
I'm trying to set up a ride on Monday 9/6 to Hannibal. Interested?

Welcome Ax-Man,
I live in O'Fallon and drive an 02 1800R Red. Several other area VTR's frequently meet via this site or the Gateway VTX group on Yahoo to arrange weekend rides. I hope to see you at one soon.

Welcome to the site. I just purchased mine in June of this year. This site is what really helped seal the deal. Speaking of deal, did you wind up buying from a dealer or private owner? Just curious, because I noticed that some of the other members were getting incredible deals on new ones.
Anyway, I am in the St. Charles area, as well. Harvester, to be more accurate. With two little girls to entertain, I don't always have a lot of time to play on the bike; but always feel free to shoot me an e-mail if you're looking for someone to ride with. My brother-in-law has a bike, and he's a great guy to ride with, as well. Good luck and enjoy the site. It really is very informative.

Stan- I just picked up a nail in my rear tire...so I'm kinda on the "wounded" list right now. If I can get it fixed by then, the wife and I would like to join ya on the ride to Hannibal on 9/6. Will let ya know.
MoJester- Hope to join yas on a ride soon, just let me know when ya have one planned.
Mike- I actually just purchased my X in July thru a dealer on ebay. I feel like I got a pretty good deal. I have a couple kids also, so every chance we get, the wife and I like to ride. As soon as the tire is fixed we'll be ready to ride just about anytime.

Just wanted to let everyone know that Ax-Man and his wife are great people.. We made the Hannibal run on 9/6 and it was a great time. No hurry, just riding. The joy is in the trip, not the destination.

Stan,
Won't be able to make it on Sunday. Daughter has a parade she's required to be in this weekend. Keep us in mind tho when ya wanna take a ride again.
