Just thought I'd mention this so if anyone is near there and needs something, these guys kick a$$!

I attended the Bourget display at Bucks and talked with Michael from Raven Performance. These guys are going to have one kick A$$ shop there with a ton of service bays and guys that know Big Twins! They DO work on VTX's and know they're sh**! (I ordered my exhaust from them and my jet kit and their prices were very reasonable for the work! :orac: )

If you need service or "stuff" call and talk to Michael. . .I know HDL provides this board and their prices are great and all, but as far as service goes I've had trouble finding a good group of guys and THIS IS THEM!

Raven Performance - 1-866-34R-AVEN. . talk to Michael.

Adios!

Mike! (no, not the Michael from Raven. . . doh!)

Hey Mike,

I thought you said that you had to talk them into working on your VTX exhaust?? They didn't want anything to do with metric bikes at first. I'm glad that they have seen the error of their ways!

LOL,
Gus

(PS - it was nice to meet you)

Naah. . talked to a "different" guy the week before when I was there. Talked to the OWNER of the shop this week. . and he was able to give me a lot more info about the tech's, his shop and his experience.
(You would think someone like me [a geek enGhInEer] would know better than to talk to sales guys!)

He is the FIRST shop guy I've met that actually knows the Model number, popular parts and NEW stuff for the VTX's. (Something rare - a tech who won't rip me off. . and knows what he's talking about!)

So far, the experience with them has been good. . . .I'll update you guys after the Jet Kit and the Exhaust goes on. . . .

Take care!

I had to talk them into working on my retro when Raven had his shop in Hatboro, Pa. He completed the install on my HK 2to1 Sideburners when I ran out of the needed tools. He was great after the inital discussion.

Glad to hear it man!

They seem to have realized the "err of their ways" and are looking for customers with X's now. Nice guys. . really seem to know their stuff.

Thanks again!

Mike!
