WTB VTX 1800C... a day late and a dollar short!!!

Looks like I was a day late and a dollar short in purchasing an '03 from the dealer :( ...anyone selling a VTX 1800C in Ohio? Looking for a black one(as they say...black is the fastest color) but would be interested in any others...Does anyone know if Honda will be making another offer to discount these bikes? email me either thu this forum or directly at frazzie@netscape.com

Honda won't be making those offers on 03s anymore IMO. I would be willing to sell you mine, but you'd laugh pretty hard when I told you the price. That said, I have all receipts to prove what I have put into the bike.

I spoke with several dealers concerning the 2003 rebates from Honda. Most of the people I spoke with felt that the deal would be extended to clear out the remaing 2003 bikes, although most are gone! I know a Honda Dealer personally and he indicated that if they are going to extend that program, it would be sometime mid-month. Having said that, if they don't extend that deal, I'm sure your local dealer will cut you a nice deal just to move it. I purchased a 2004 for $11,200 out the door. (I feel like I got a preety good deal).

There are several used 1800's for sale on traderonline.com.

Ya you can look on traderonline.com or just call a couple of local dealers. $11,500 out the door is a pretty good deal. I'm glad I got mine for what I did when they had the sale going on.

Ya, it was nice meeting other X'ers that come to this site. You definately have one sweet bike, I like the 240 tire on the rear, and so did my friends. I probably won't be doing anything major till this winter. It just seems like a good time to do the all the customizing stuff (pipes, air intake, PC111, etc..). Have a good ride.
