This Labor Day weekend (Saturday and Sunday) your FAVORITE Pub, Eatery, and meeting hotspot will be participating in WingFest 2004 on Elston Ave. and Division St. in Chicago.
This is a huge event to benefit local groups and Doyle's has been invited (along with a select few other establishments) to sell wings and other food.
Bands all day and the event goes from 1pm untill 10pm. We hope you are able to attend as it is for a worthy cause.
Also... for the first time, NEW Doyle's t-shirts will be available both at the Bar and at WingFest. All WIVOs will recieve a discount on the shirts. $10 for short sleeve and $15 for long sleeve. The artwork on the back features a very nice ( ) VTX as part of the logo. BUY THEM in support of Doyle's and all VTXrs!!!!! Shirt print is below.
Thanks and we hope to see you there! :)

I got down there around 4:00, sorry I didn't get a chance to post first.

Smallish crowd in the afternoon, pretty good crowd when I went back in at 8:00. The band was really good too.

Between the two times I cruised downtown. Man, Navy Pier, Michigan Ave, and Rush St. were packed!

Hey Timmay, Me and my buddy John took a ride over to the wingfest today. They wouldn't let us park on the street near the entrance. We couldn't find the way into the parking lot(man..is it screwy around that area!!) so we wound up making a big circle and ended up at the entrance again. I tried calling your cell but the number is not in service. I reckon you changed your #. Anyway, Johns' bike (Harley)started making really wierd noises so we had to leave. We just wanted to stop by and say hello. Sorry we missed you. Maybe I'll catch ya next weekend. Later...................Nick
