Looks like if the weather holds out, you Eastern boys are going to be seeing a few of us Saturday in Somerset. Just hope there's going to be enough room for all the VTX's that are going to be there.

G$ : maybe we can ride in the same group this time

Mike. I am kicking around joining you guys. I am a little under the weather right now but expecting a full recovery around 4pm tonight. If you have a minute let me know what is going to happen.

I usually get to feeling alot better when I open the fridge!

Hoovey and I are meeting in Owensboro at 7:30am. If you want to go, we can meet in Hartford in the morning.

And where were you last night??!! I was the only VTX among 3 HD's!!

Didn't make it until about 9 and it looked like it was closed down. Had a couple of cold ones at bw3's.

Sup O'boro Mike? Howz that ear? LOL! Glad you and Santa Claus Mike made the L-O-N-G trip for this ride. All in all it was a good event, with a few "minor" incidents. Final count in the paper listed 508 bikes. Hope y'all made it home safely on Saturday night. I headed to Louisville for the UK/UL game on Sunday(shoulda stayed home..gawd) and my odo for the weekend was 400+. You two shoulda had around 600 just on Saturday and been worn out.

Have u had a chance to call the insurance agent of the H-D guy? Remember, he's a "good guy" and all. LMAO. Hopefully ur bike wasn't damaged too bad and he'll make it right. Tell ur wife next time u come to Central Ky that ur calling her to load up the trailer!

Later

I believe I could have written a book on the dangers of open road riding :D I still believe that if I hadn't been riding with two "whimps" that needed their rain suits, none of that would have happened
Will keep you up to date on the dent status. Have done nothing yet.

By the way, the "bag" says "Hi!"

Glad the Bag Lady letchu back in the house. As for the rain gear, I truly believe that I would have melted in that downpour had I not doned the <gasp!> H-D reflective rain gear. (OK, there is a story behind that suit & it was on sale.)

Maybe we are just smart enough to try to get out of the rain! I guess Mike will watch out better for those falling Geezers and there Geezer Glides next time. I ended up with 520 miles for the day. It turned out to be a pretty good day except for the one incident. Boy I sure had alot of high speed bugs to clean off when i got home. Mike I enjoyed meeting you and riding together, stay in touch so we can do it again soon.

Take Care Hoovey

I guess I deserved that  Had a great time though :!: Talk about bugs, I haven't done anything to mine yet. Guess I can't look her in the eye right now.
