Poker run in Oxford this weekend 09/05/02

Just found out about a poker run that will be held in Oxford. So this Sunday I'll see you all there. Right?

Registration starts around 9:30ish.

Most of the active posters on the MI board don't always read this Message Board. I don't always check the MI board, so who knows if they even see this string.

My wife is trying to get me to go to the Renesaunce (sp) Festival instead of going to the Poker Run, but so far, I'll be there.

Hope your still coming. :D A group of my buddies and I are meeting for breakfast at some restaurant just north of Dryden Rd. on the East side of M-24 in Oxford at about 9:30 am if your hungry :P Don't know the name of the place but it should be easy to find with the bikes.

Great ride today!!!

It was nice meeting Rickie and his bike in person.

The ride itself was excellent. There was an accident between a motorcycle and a car on Rochester Rd. that held us up for about 30 mins but everyone took it in stride and everyone was just glad no one was hurt. I was riding with a group of 8 and we got split up a couple times but not a big deal. One guy I was with lost his oil cap on 69 and was slinging oil but we stopped and it was replaced for the time being with a household fuse. Who needs McGyver!! All in all it was a great ride. Good friends and the open road!! Can't go wrong with that.

Had a nice write up in the paper about the ride. Said there was over 500 bikes and they raised $12,500. No pictures of our X's though :evil:
