I apologize for cutting out, but the pregnant wife was desperate for food and the daughter had a "previous engagement" (even though she just HAD to come with us).

BUT...turns out we needed every minute we could come up with just to get home cuz my FI light started doing the happy dance on the way back. Light comes on, it stumbles, backfires, light goes off. Repeat - over and over and over.

All the way back in "limp home" mode, praying it wouldn't give up the farm before we got back. Hope I can get it taken care of before the Bikers for Babies run on the 12th.

Anybody dealt with this before?

Anybody dealt with this before? otcpham, I would start first checking to see if your battery cables are tight that could be the problem, good luck CC

Thanks, that'll be step one, and I hope also the only step.

No rain, but it looked like it was chasing us the entire return trip. The way we were limping along, I'm just glad it didn't catch us.
