Hey Dan,
Nice that we finally hooked up at Honda East! Hopefully we can get together for a ride sometime soon or a tech session this winter - as you said you were gonna do some customizing.

It was nice meeting you guys. Definately some nice bikes. Also nice to finally hear the pipes I've been eyeing, it helps me justify spending $500 on them :D

No, my buddy brought over his C w/ a custom map done and beat me by a couple ponies. When I get all my mods done, I will get a custom map again and I should be well over what I pulled at Honda East.

Didn't he pull like 96HP?? I thought that's what the stock cruiser board said. I was thinking about bringing up my X but my friends wanted to come and after seeing that I don't think I would have won the $100 (although it would have been nice).

Yeah, he pulled 96hp in the stock category. Usually most VTXs pull 84-88hp bone stock. I've never heard of a bone stock X pull more than 90.

now now boys.. I thought we did this before... yes, a bone stock will do.. I have done 92.4 bone stock... took 3 runs to do that but I did it.. first two were 89.9 and second 90.1.. so it can be done... but its ok...heck after this winter it wont be bone stock anymore...

Hye Xtreme... how hard is it to do those clutch springs and time involved? Just wanting to plan ahead.

Thanks

It takes more time to take off and put on the exhaust than to do the springs. Use Bare's writeup here for step-by-step instructions -

Don't forget to let me know when you want those springs and I can bring them out to you.
