HEY! I'm still on the natural high from my first good ride this past Sunday. Took the big 18 up to Norris Dam and surrounding parts. Lots of smooth, sweeping curves.

AWESOME!!!!!

Hey mike, you're the only one who responded to my invitation to the Labor Day ride. I did e-mail you back but my wife tells me it didn't go through. Sorry. Ended up going to my brother's house down in MS and rode with folks there.

The Backroad Riders did something over the weekend but didn't post plans here. Most of their plans lately have been weekend trips to Hot Springs and other places in Arkansas. Suggest you check out their website; WWW.Backroadriders.com (http://WWW.Backroadriders.com), I believe.

Looking forward to meeting you and the riders from the Jackson area someday.

I went out with my neighbor on Monday. We took backroads from Andersonville to Clinton, then Oak Ridge, Oliver Springs, Back and across through Powell, over the Fountain City/Halls and back up 33 to hwy 61 to Andersonville. About 100 miles... it was beautiful out !!

Just before the UT game. What a ride. Lots of grinding of the boards, tho.

Also seem to get out to the Clinton, Andersonville, Norris, Lake City, Frostbottom, Oliver Springs loop pretty often.

Nice rides, no congestion, cool valleys.

I live in Knoxville and work in Clinton. Ride my X to work as much as I can but rarely see anything other that Harleys. Wish the X crowd in Knoxvegas could get together :?
