New VTX Owner in Cleveland

Just bought a 2004 VTX1800C. Titanium Flame color scvheme. This is my first street bike in a few years and I believe I made a great choice. Looking forward to meeting other VTX owners to ride with.

Sure, Love to hook up some time for a ride. I plan on hitting Quaker Steak in Sheffield on Thursday. I read that the OhioXriders will be there as well. Is that correct? I joined that site today too; looking for others to ride with. I will be the one sporting temp tags on a titanium flame VTX with a grin from ear-to-ear!

I'm curious what the Titanium flame scheme looks like..sounds pretty funky. Where did you buy your ride, too? I got mine at Cleve/akron honda off 271.

Unfortunately, you did not miss much at QS in Sheffield on Thursday. I got there a bit late (8:30) and by that time there were 50 or so bikes there. I believe I was the only X rider there. I'm sure the rain we got earlier discouraged most.

I purchased my ride from Elyria Harley. I normally go through On The Edge Honda in Amherst for everything but Elyria Harley had the one I wanted at the right price.

How do you like the BUB Jug Huggers? They look sweet. Did you need to replace your fuel manager?

We need to hook up and go for a ride. Im in North Olmsted, where are you?

Bub Jug Huggers - one word: AMAZING. Really make the bike sound like a beast. Lots of char and not many people have them. I did get a PCIII because i was afraid of running too lean, which happens when you either open the air box or replace it entirely (what i did). I'm actually in Bedford, just moved there recently. We def need to go riding. Another rider, Justin, contacted me also - maybe we can get a group ride together too. Justin -- you out there? :)

Yeah I made it out there. Man, what a freakin awesome night, the weather and ride was surreal. I went down there for my first time and I was shocked at how many bikes were there. I ended up riding around with a couple other fellows for a bunch of miles (vtx & hd) We absolutley oblitherated this dude on his HD. When he caught up to us at the light he was just laughing at how we left him like he was going the other way. What a great night I had.

Yeah I'm going. I know it's almost too late to commit, but I'll be there. I'll look for you guys if you're there. It's about a 45 minute ride for me. If you check this give me a call or leave a message so I can find you when I'm there. I'll be there around 7:30 - 8:00.
